Swap plastic dish brushes in the kitchen with our 100% biodegradable beechwood and sisal fiber dish brush. Our kitchen brush has a beechwood handle with sisal fiber (agave plant) bristles. Brushes and refill heads come coated with a natural plant varnish. Help to reduce the amount of plastic waste polluting our landfills. Let's collectively make better choices for our future generations.

The head is removable and replaceable. Bundle with our refill heads to save! Minimally fastened together with a metal wire & metal loop to hang to dry.

  • Size: Brush with handle is 9" in length.
  • Care Instructions: Hang to dry in between uses, on a dry towel or elevated to allow bristles to drain. Never leave submerged in water as it will wear on the wood causing it to crack or may cause the natural bristles to fall out. Heads last about 6 months, and handles last a couple of years.
  • Wood is naturally antimicrobial, but if you need to clean your brushes, clean bristles with vinegar to kill bacteria.
  • Mother Earth Approved: Wooden handles with 100% sisal plant fiber bristles (agave plant). Shipped with zero plastic in recycled paper boxes or with kraft paper or compostable peanuts as padding.
  • Brush Head Replacement: Pinch the wires together near the head of the brush and slide the small circular metal piece down to remove old brush head- you may need pliers the first time you change it. Slide a new brush head on and slide the metal piece back to its original position to hold it tight. Refill heads have the option of coming coated with a natural plant varnish to reduce cracking or naturally uncoated.
  • How to Dispose: Heads can be demoted to household cleaning then home composted. Metal parts can be scrap recycled.
